The bioavailability of resveratrol supplements reaches 40-60% due to the presence of Bioperine (black pepper extract) in the composition and the use in the production of vegan enteric-coated capsules compared to resveratrol produced using similar capsules without the addition of Bioperine, where the bioavailability is only 1-5%. The use of cellulose enteric-coated capsules plays an important role in bioavailability here, since they contain components that ensure the passage of the capsules to the intestine without damage, eliminating the possibility of exposure to gastric juice.
Resveratrol belongs to polyphenols, it is found in the skin of red grapes, some berries and plants.
