Description

Dietary supplement Stark Pharm - Forskolin (forskolin) is a biologically active substance of natural origin obtained from the perennial herbaceous plant Coleus forskohlii.

Forskolin exerts its effect on the body, mainly due to the activation of the enzyme - adenylate cyclase, resulting in an increase in the level of cAMP in the intracellular space. cAMP is an important and multifunctional transmitter of cellular signals that transmit hormones and other biochemical mediators. With the help of cAMP, feedback of the cells of the hypothalamus-pituitary axis is carried out. Thus, forskolin affects many processes in the body through the above mediators.

With an increase in the concentration of cAMP, there is a decrease in blood pressure, a decrease in intraocular pressure, cAMP prevents platelet aggregation (reduces blood clotting), promotes vasodilation (vasodilation), bronchodilation (improved breathing), and, most importantly for us, increases the secretion of thyroid hormones and accelerates lipolysis (fat burning).

The activity of forskolin on the thyroid gland is comparable to the effect of thyroid-stimulating hormone, and this is very impressive. But not only does an increase in thyroid hormone levels increase fat burning, but an increase in cAMP concentration activates protein kinase, which activates hormone-sensitive lipase, which is responsible for burning triglycerides, which are the building blocks of adipose tissue.
