This is a relatively new high-quality intense thermostable sweetener , developed by the English company Tate & Lyle in 1976, which can be used in a wide range of food production - from drinks to bakery products (according to Wikipedia). Sweeteners based on sucralose have a pleasant sweetness, their taste is indistinguishable from the taste of sugar, they dissolve well in water. A huge plus of sucralose is its stability during heat treatment (pasteurization and sterilization used in the manufacture of preservation).
The safety of consumption of products based on sucralose has been proven by more than 110 tests conducted over 15 years by the world's leading scientific centers. These scientists have reliably proved: the harm of sucralose is a delusion!
The results of these studies have been reviewed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), as well as other international health authorities. As a result, daily consumption of sucralose in drinks and foods is approved by the World Health Organization. Experts say that the use of this sweetener is safe not only for the usual contingent, but also for pregnant women, children of the younger age group and patients with diabetes.

The human body excretes about 85% of the consumed sucralose, absorbing only 15%. But what is absorbed is excreted from the body during the day. That is, sucralose does not linger in the human body. It cannot enter the brain, cross the placental barrier in pregnant women, or pass into breast milk. Doses of this sweetener do not interact with other nutrients and do not promote insulin release.
Sucralose does not break down in the body, has virtually no calories, and does not cause dental caries.
Modern nutritionists consider sucralose one of the safest sweeteners. It is the only "artificial sugar" that has escaped the charge of being carcinogenic.
