Description
Solaray Mega Quercetin is a powerful combination of the bioflavonoids quercetin, rutin and hesperidin, along with bromelain and vitamin C to enhance bioavailability and increase antioxidant properties. Bioflavonoids can help support normal respiratory and immune function.
Quercetin is the strongest antioxidant from flavonoids, which belongs to vitamin preparations of the R group. Quercetin is a protector of the cell membrane against the effects of free radicals, strengthens the walls of small vessels (capillaries), therefore it is used in the prevention of cardiovascular disorders. Has a pronounced anti-allergic effect (prevents the production of histamine and serotonin).
Quercetin is an immunostimulator – it enhances the activity of immune cells, such as: phagocytes, T- and B-lymphocytes, which helps to increase the production of antibodies. Quercetin is used for arthritis, asthma and other inflammatory diseases. Successfully fights viral infections.
By strengthening the immune system, quercetin promotes the production of detoxification enzymes that rid the body of carcinogens, and promotes their elimination (for various types of cancer). Recommendations for use:
For adults, 1 serving (1 capsule) 2 times a day during meals or with a glass of water.
