Description
Food supplement BioTech - Vitamin E contains vitamin E, which improves blood circulation, is necessary for tissue regeneration, is useful for premenstrual syndrome and the treatment of fibrotic breast diseases. It ensures normal blood clotting and healing; reduces the possibility of scarring from certain wounds; lowers blood pressure; contributes to the prevention of cataracts; improves athletic performance; relieves leg cramps; supports the health of nerves and muscles; strengthening the walls of capillaries; prevents anemia.
As an antioxidant, vitamin E protects cells from damage by slowing down the oxidation of lipids (fats) and the formation of free radicals. It protects other fat-soluble vitamins from being destroyed by oxygen, aids in the absorption of vitamin A, and protects it from oxygen. Vitamin E slows down aging, can prevent the appearance of senile pigmentation.
Vitamin E is also involved in the formation of collagen and elastic fibers of the intercellular substance. Tocopherol prevents increased blood clotting, has a beneficial effect on peripheral circulation, is involved in the biosynthesis of heme and proteins, cell proliferation, the formation of gonadotropins, and the development of the placenta.
However, it should be remembered that vitamin E plays a preventive role - it cannot repair damage that has already taken place. Participants in some studies that did not find any anti-cancer efficacy of vitamin E smoked for many years or were irresponsible about healthy eating. Neither drug nor vitamin can reverse the tissue damage caused by decades of unhealthy lifestyles. For example, a daily intake of 200 int. units vitamin E can prevent the conversion of nitrites (certain substances present in smoked and pickled foods) into carcinogenic nitrosamines; however, it will not reverse the reaction of nitrosamines to nitrites.
In addition, the effectiveness of vitamin E is enhanced in the presence of other antioxidant nutrients. Its anti-cancer protective effect is especially markedly enhanced by vitamin C.
