Now Foods - Cranberry with Pacs contains cranberry, which promotes a healthy urinary tract. Standardized cranberries contain naturally occurring compounds called proanthocyanidins (PACs), which trigger their anti-adhesion properties in the urinary tract and help keep the urinary tract clear. This supplement makes it easy to support healthy urinary tract function, and each 1,000 mg serving of standardized cranberries provides a minimum of 1.5% proanthocyanidins (PACs). For additional support, the product is supplemented with 300 mg of bearberry extract and 45 mg of grape seed extract.
The supplement is recommended for the treatment and prevention of urinary tract infections (cystitis, prostatitis, etc.). Proanthocyanidins prevent the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria to the walls of the bladder and urinary ducts, and also contribute to the natural elimination of pathogenic microflora.
