Description
Salvum Lab - VitBaby D supplement contains vitamin D, which is intended for newborns in order to prevent rickets and vitamin D deficiency.
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin and, like other vitamins, is indispensable for the body of a newborn. It stimulates the absorption of calcium from the intestines into the blood. Vitamin D is also responsible for the incorporation of calcium into the bone skeleton, and, accordingly, for the strength of the child's bones. The presence of vitamin D in the kidneys reduces urinary calcium loss.
With a lack of vitamin D , a disease such as rickets in newborns can develop. With rickets, a child may experience disorders in the musculoskeletal system, hypotension, convulsions, excitability and developmental delay in general.
