Puritan's Pride - Lutigold Extra with Zeaxanthin is an eye health support complex consisting of lutein and zeaxanthin. These two pigments of the carotenoid group are located in the retina of the eye and protect the macula and lens of the retina from the aggressive spectrum of sunlight. Specifically, lutein helps filter out the harmful blue light our eyes are exposed to when using a computer. The supplement helps to reduce eye fatigue and also improves the adaptation of vision to poor lighting (as in twilight).
